Printing
Last updated: 15 July 2026
Our print service coordinates and quality-checks the production of your printed materials. Jewell manages design and production liaison and delivers through vetted print partners; we stand behind that delivery, while the specifics of commercial print (tolerances, proofs and stock) are set out below.
Quotes, approval and payment
- Quotes are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise. All pricing is in AUD and excludes GST. Prices may change if specifications, quantities, materials or delivery change.
- Print jobs generally require full payment before production, and final materials are released or delivered once payment is received.
- You must review and approve all artwork in writing before printing. Approval confirms acceptance of layout, spelling, imagery, technical specs and colour expectations; no changes can be made once approval is given.
- Where a physical proof or sample is provided, you should inspect it and approve in writing. Choosing not to inspect an available physical proof waives recourse for issues that inspection would have revealed. Changes after approval, or once production has started, are treated as a new, separately quoted job.
Print tolerances and materials
- Colour: variations between screen, proof and final print are expected due to screen calibration and CMYK processes; exact colour matches are not guaranteed.
- Materials: slight differences in texture, finish and appearance across stocks, batches or suppliers are within industry tolerance.
- Trim and alignment: minor deviations in trim, fold and alignment within plus or minus 2mm are acceptable.
- Quantity: delivered quantities may vary by up to plus or minus 5% of the order — a standard tolerance not subject to credit or refund.
- Content accuracy: you are responsible for verifying supplied content (names, data, URLs, spelling); we accept no liability for content errors after your approval.
Delivery, reprints and rights
- Typical turnaround is 5 to 10 business days from approval and payment; expedited jobs may incur rush fees.
- Delivery is charged at cost by size, weight and number of locations; timelines are estimates only and courier delays are outside our control. Title and risk pass to you on dispatch; transit loss or damage is addressed with the courier.
- Reprints are provided only for a proven print or production error by us or our suppliers. Claims must be made in writing within 3 business days of receipt with clear photographic evidence, and goods returned if requested. Reprints needed due to client error are chargeable in full.
- You confirm you have the rights to all content you submit (logos, images, fonts, data). We treat your artwork, data and business information as confidential.
How these terms work
These service terms sit under Jewell's Terms of Service, which govern every engagement unless a signed Master Services Agreement or Statement of Work says otherwise. Where the two differ, the more specific document controls. In short:
- Partner delivery: Jewell leads and remains responsible for the work. We may engage vetted specialist partners and subcontractors, and we stand behind their work as if it were our own. Your contract is with Jewell alone.
- AI-assisted delivery: we use AI tools under human direction and review to work faster and pass the value to you. A qualified person reviews and remains accountable for every deliverable, and we do not use your confidential material to train publicly available AI models. See the AI Disclosure page.
- Intellectual property: on payment in full, you own the final deliverables created specifically for you. Jewell keeps its pre-existing methods, frameworks (including the 3D Process), tools, code and know-how, and licenses them to you as embedded in the work.
- Case studies: unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we may reference non-confidential work — including your name, logo and factual outcomes — in our portfolio, proposals and marketing. You can opt out or restrict this at any time.
- Australian Consumer Law: nothing in these terms excludes the consumer guarantees you have under the ACL.
- Liability: our liability is capped and certain losses are excluded, as set out in the Terms of Service.
